Some of the heads of the Old-believer communities living outside of Russia, made an introductory tour of the territory of the Russian Federation. From September 12th to 28th, they visited the Primorsky and Khabarovsk regions, the Jewish Autonomous region, the Amur region and the Republics of Buryatia and Karelia. Their travels throughout Russia ended with a visit to Moscow and, in particular, to the Rogozhskoe spiritual center.
The 21 person delegation included representatives of the Old-believer communities from Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, New Zealand, the USA and Uruguay. The overseas visitors traveled 12,000 km by air, 4,700 km by road and 3,100 km by rail to get acquainted with the regions, with a potential view of moving to these areas. They met with the heads of the regions, examined the territories allocated for the construction of residential settlements and visited industrial and agricultural enterprises.
On September 28th, the delegation was received at Rogozhskoe, where metropolitan Korniliy gave a tour of Rogozhskoe for the guests.
