On February 1, the French Ambassador, Sylvie Bermann, visited the Rogozhskoe settlement with an introductory visit.
Accompanied by metropolitan Korniliy and the director of the Moscow Old-Rite Theological School, Anatoly Ivanovich Shatokhin, Mrs Bermann visited the Intercession Cathedral, an exhibition about the history of the Old-believers in the church of the Nativity of Christ, an exhibition of paintings by Oleg Molchanov and the icon museum in the House of the Clergy. Later, in the chambers of the metropolitanate, mutual gifts were presented over tea.
