On May 27, the head of the mission of the Russian Orthodox Old-believers Church in Uganda and the rector of the Intercession-Dormition Church in Moscow, father Nikola Bobkov, together with father Alexei Lopatin, the rector of the St. Nicholas church in Moscow who is also responsible for the financial and economic department of the mission in Uganda, visited the UgandaExpo – 2019 exhibition in Moscow.
During the exhibition, a brief meeting was held between the representatives of the Church and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uganda to Russia, Agara Olva Johnson. O. Nikola acquainted the ambassador with the actions of the Church’s mission, presented him with a memorable album with photos and invited him to visit the spiritual center of the Church in the Rogozhskoe settlement. The Uganda Expo – 2019 was held in Yota Arena in Moscow from May 27 to June 1.
