On June 6, the Primate of the Church, His Eminence Metropolitan Korniliy, presided over the Sunday liturgy at the Intercession Cathedral. At the end of the service, the Metropolitan announced his blessing to Protopriest Alexey Mikheev to serve as rector of the Intercession Cathedral on Rogozhskoe.
Vladyka Korniliy thanked Fr. Victor Zheltsov for the many years of pastoral service. Father Victor has a well-deserved authority among the parishioners of Rogozhskoe. This May marks the 15th anniversary of his appointment as the rector of the Rogozhskoe churches.
In September last year, Father Victor celebrated the 88th day of the angel. Despite his respectable age, he still conducts services and rituals. To the best of his strength and capabilities, he will continue to serve in the Intercession Church, to guide the large flock, to carry the work of the dean of the parishes of Moscow.
